Follow-Up from Managers

Feedback, encouragement, and accountability drive results

Updated this week

In the beginning, it’s important that managers follow up on everything that comes in. If a message is sent in the chat, it must be answered in the chat. If a report is submitted, it must be responded to.

Managers should review the task list every day during the first month and provide feedback when tasks are not completed. If there’s no improvement, this should continue.

Training completion rates must also be monitored, and employees should be encouraged to complete their courses.

If it’s not in Runwell, it didn’t happen

Sick leave submitted via SMS instead of Runwell? = Not delivered
Tasks completed but not checked off? = Not delivered
Broken chair reported by email instead of Runwell? = Not delivered

It helps to be strict about using Runwell for the purposes you’ve agreed on. When employees also experience recognition and positive outcomes from reporting correctly, change will happen quickly.
