Adjust Temperature Readings

When the Food Safety (IK-mat) procedure is activated, a set of tasks is automatically created. Let’s adjust them to fit your needs.

Updated this week

You’ll need Admin access to complete this guide.

Getting Started

First, go to the Tasks module.

By default, you’ll see a group task called Temperature Readings, which includes 3 freezers, 3 fridges, and rinse water temperature.

Adjust the Number of Freezers and Fridges

In Runwell, you can easily add or remove as many freezers and fridges as you need.

  • Remove: Click the dot menu on the freezer and select Delete.

  • Add: Click the dot menu, then select Duplicate.

Set the Correct Names

We’ve named them Freezer 1, Freezer 2, and so on. But you may want names like Main Freezer or Fridge 302.

  • To change: Click the dot menu and select Edit.

  • Enter the name you want and click Save.

Here you can also check that the right person is assigned, and that the minimum and maximum values are correct for your setup.

Not Open Every Day?

You can easily adjust when the task should be done.
If your location is closed on certain days, set the task to weekly and select only the days you’re open.

Rename the Group Task

Restaurants use different terms for temperature checks — Temperature Readings, Temperature Measurement, Temperature Control, etc.

  • To rename: Click the dot menu on the group and select Edit.
